Position: Electro Maintenance Mechanic.
Pay: $22.00 Per Hour.
Position Summary:
To perform electrical/electronic repairs to production machines and any other machines in the facility. To repair, replace, install, modify all types of production machinery in the facility.
Management reserves the right to change or modify the functions of this job as required to meet the needs of the organization. Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- This position works 8 hour shift.
- Perform electrical/electronic troubleshooting on machinery and associated circuits.
- Perform electrical/electronic repairs on machinery, circuits, and in facility.
- Use meters and associated electrical/electronic equipment to test and repair circuits in facility and machines.
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of electrical/electronic components, programs, and all associated equipment.
- Read and comprehend electrical schematics and diagrams. Install new circuits associated with existing and new installations of machines.
- Ensures and enforces to department personnel all Handgards, OSHA, Federal, State and Local policies, rules and regulations pertinent to the machinery preventive maintenance procedure.
- Ensure that work area is clean and all Good Manufacturing Practices are followed. Ø Recognize and communicate deficiencies in machine/facility electrical and or electronics especially those pertaining to safety. Ø Repair, move and/or set up, modify or alter production machinery
- Perform repairs required in the facility.
- Plan and maintenance functions and make lists of materials needed.
- Read blueprints and or machine diagrams.
- Maintains communication with other employees and supervisor.
- A propensity toward understanding mechanics and mechanical fundamentals.
- Should have the ability to train new personnel.
- Communicate input concerning positive modification that benefits safety and productivity.
Education and/or Experience:
- HS Diploma or GED.
- Associate Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or six months to one-year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination or education and experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or one to two years’ experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years’ experience in related field.

Working Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

- Bilingual, English/Spanish desirable.
