General Labor / Production Associate
Location: Varies by client
Shifts: Day, Evening
Pay: $14.00–$15.00 per hour (depending on client and position)
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and hardworking General Labor / Production Associates to support manufacturing and production operations. This position involves operating or assisting with production equipment, bagging and packaging products, filling containers, handling materials, maintaining quality standards, and keeping the work area clean and safe. Ideal candidates are team-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to perform physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate or assist with production machinery and manufacturing equipment.
- Bag, package, and fill products into containers, pails, or other packaging as required.
- Load, unload, move, and stack raw materials and finished products.
- Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment when required and authorized.
- Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and production specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
- Complete production records, documentation, and basic quality checks as required.
- Follow all safety procedures, work instructions, and company policies.
- Support production goals while working independently or as part of a team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, production, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
- Forklift experience is a plus for applicable positions.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math and recordkeeping skills.
- Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or flexible schedules as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 80 pounds.
- Comfortable working in manufacturing environments that may include heat, cold, dust, noise, humidity, moving machinery, and industrial chemicals.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing or production facility where safety, quality, and productivity are top priorities. Employees should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing production demands and mandatory overtime when necessary.
